Scooter Braun is coming to the defense of Ellen DeGeneres.
Following published reports about an alleged toxic work environment at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the high-profile artist manager -- whose clients Justin Bieber , Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have appeared as guests on the show -- shared his support for DeGeneres on social media Friday (July 31).
In early July, Buzzfeed published a widely circulated story featuring numerous former employees of The Ellen DeGeneres Show anonymously accusing the show s top producers of racism, intimidation, unjust termination and a toxic work culture.
DeGeneres recently addressed the allegations in a letter to her crew, noting that she ultimately takes responsibility since the show bears her name, and gave assurance that steps will be taken to "correct the issues" going forward, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
American Idol season 10 alum Casey Abrams replied to Braun s note on Twitter, writing that he had a pleasant experience while appearing as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011.
