Major League Baseball is back in the news this week after Monday’s non-tender deadline saw 40 names added to this year’s class of free agents.

Toronto parted ways with right-hander Derek Law, right-hander Jason Adam and catcher Luke Maile while other familiar names such as Kevin Pillar and Aaron Sanchez also hit the open market. In addition to the influx of free agents, the off-season hot stove appears to be heating up with Gerrit Cole and Stephen Strasburg reportedly meeting with the Yankees this week and lots of rumours surrounding the fate of right-hander Zack Wheeler.
