When it comes to cameras, batteries and speakers, its very much not true that good things come in small packages. And yet Xiaomi managed to fit no less than five cameras, a 5,2560mAh battery and a 1cc speaker chamber inside the Mi Note 10 . Disassembly photos and a video show the deceptively simple design that made this possible.
Technically, this is the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro , but its essentially identical to the Note 10 (its a matter of a different name for the different markets). It all starts with peeling off the glass back.
After that, there are a few layers the NFC antenna, a graphite sheet to spread the heat from the chipset and an additional cover supporting the cameras. This houses the quad LED flash as well as the Laser AF system (and an ambient light sensor to adjust the cameras color temperature).

Finally, the penta-camera is free to come out the 108MP sensor is pretty large and this module is a custom version of Samsungs ISOCELL HMX sensor. It and the 5x telephoto camera feature optical image stabilization.

Interestingly, Xiaomi managed to fit a 5,260mAh battery, without resorting to L-shaped batteries like Apple uses (for comparison, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 4,000mAh battery). Note the 1cc loudspeaker chamber below the battery and the 3.5mm headphone jack to its side.
All this hardware doesnt leave enough room for a traditional optical in-display fingerprint reader. Xiaomi used an ultra-thin reader its just 0.3mm thick and made possible by a micro-lens with micro-collimation tech.

The final item of interest is the motherboard, which looks very tiny a Snapdragon 730G shares the board with LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.1 storage and various support chips (including the 30W fast charge hardware).
