As we all wait with bated breath for the arrival of the first official three-row Jeep, here’s a little sampler of what could be out of the United Arab Emirates.
It’s no Grand Wagoneer , but it is a Jeep, and it does have three rows of seats.
The mod, an extended hard-top JL-gen Wrangler Unlimited with a second row of captain’s chairs and a third-row bench seat, is owned by “The Rainbow Sheikh” himself, Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, who is , particularly off-roaders.
The stretched 4 X4 was recently posted to the Sheik’s Off Road History Museum Instagram account, which describes it as “the first longest JL three-row seat in the world.” The Museum also claims to have the world’s largest collection of 4X4 vehicles, with a total of 718.

Though it’s still perfectly proportional, the rear doors are larger than a basic Unlimited’s, as is the side glass. Scroll through the Instagram gallery above for all the angles.
Another post reveals what the interior looks like: functional and not likely that comfortable for tall or even average-sized people. Roll bars in the third seat make head room basically non-existent.

What do you make of the custom job? Was it worth the effort, or should they just have waited for the Wagoneer? Drop your take in the comments.
