Sudbury-area schools report a decrease in active COVID-19 cases

According to letters posted to the Rainbow District School Board’s (RDSB) website, the health unit confirmed two new cases at R.L. Beattie Public School and Carl A. Nesbitt Public School on Nov. 22.

Additionally, the isolation period for students and staff in the JK/SK class in room 107 at R.L. Beattie and in the SK class in room 105 at Ernie Checkeris have been extended to Nov. 18.

The extension is a result of COVID-19 exposures that occurred on Nov. 18.

The board is currently monitoring three COVID-19 outbreaks at R.L. Beattie, Redwood Acres Public School, and Sudbury Secondary School.
