Listen, if Chuck Norris joined last week’s violent riot in Washington, the U.S. Capitol building would now be a pile of smouldering rubble.

Come on, people. Did you not see “The Delta Force,” “Missing in Action” or “Code of Silence”? His body is a lethal weapon in the same way my body is a water balloon. It’s 100 per cent true. So all I could do was laugh while scrutinizing a viral photo that had some this week believing Mr. Norris was among the marauding lunatics who stormed the Capitol in a bid to overturn a democratic election because their brains — and I use that word loosely — have been destroyed by the endless lies of Donald J. Trump .

The bearded fellow in the photo, with his all-weather squint and ruddy hair, does bear a resemblance to Norris. This forced the media to inquire, which led to dozens of headlines such as , “Chuck Norris Manager Says Actor Was Not at U.S. Capitol Riot.”
