Gruelling schedule taking a toll on weary Impact

It must seem like Groundhog Day to Victor Wanyama and the rest of the Impact — rest, practise, rest. Then try to prepare, both mentally and physically, for what has been a ridiculous schedule.

“I don’t do much. I just sleep a lot. I move when they need me,” the Impact midfielder quipped Friday afternoon during a video conference call from Harrison, N.J. “It’s difficult. We’ve travelled a lot. We’re tired. We’ve played a lot of games as well. It’s difficult to find the time to rest.”
