The recently unveiled Cyberpunk 2077 ray tracing footage (see the video embedded at the end of this article) looks great but, unfortunately, AMD Radeon users will not be able to enjoy this visual feast soon after the game s launch. The official list that contains the final system requirements for the PC version of this upcoming first-person open-world RPG only mentions NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards, without any reference to AMD hardware.

When asked on Twitter about the game s use of ray tracing capabilities on AMD Radeon cards, CD PROJEKT RED s Community Manager Marcin Momot came up with the following reply: "Not for the release but we are working together with AMD to introduce this feature as soon as we can."

Fortunately, there aren t too many users of the AMD Radeon 6000 lineup around yet. One of the replies to Momot s aforementioned tweet is hilarious and, unfortunately, not that far from the truth: "I m sure all 12 of the people who managed to get a 6800 will be devastated."
